Assessing in-vivo efficacy of experimental Alzheimer treatments in extensively validated, proprietary transgenic mouse models

Current drug development requires extensive characterization of many compounds and their detailed preclinical analysis. Transgenic mouse models of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) have proven valuable tools in the search for treatments that can slow down development of AD or eventually cure this devastating disorder.

reMYND’s CRO is a trusted partner to help our clients understand as fast as possible the therapeutic in-vivo effects of all experimental AD treatments. Our mission is to help our clients identify the most promising set-up to assess potential treatment effects by contributing our extensive expertise.

  • For all types of treatments (e.g., small molecules, vaccination strategies)
  • Using all routes of administration (e.g., oral gavage, ip, iv, sc, icv)
  • With unique and proprietary animal models (APP-London, also in combination with PS1 or TAU)
  • With a broad testing window
  • With a rapid response time

reMYND’s proprietary Alzheimer mouse models are based on a unique animal model containing the APP-London mutation APP[V717I], either alone or in combination with the clinical human PS1[A246E] allele, now extended to a TAU[P301L] and APPxTAU model, the latter combining both plaque and tangle pathology.
