RadarScreen

yeast based screeningRadarScreen, a novel yeast-based screening system allowing rapid and cost-effective identification of genotoxic compounds in early stage drug discovery.

Potential DNA damaging compounds can be detected in a high-throughput cellular screen using RadarScreen, a method developed by reMYND and based on the sensitivity of a reporter gene to DNA damage in eukaryotic cells.

reMYND's RadarScreen assay is fully validated and:

  • Identifies genotox liabilities of compounds or its metabolites more sensitively, user friendly and cost-effectively than any of the currently available screens of its kind
  • Is especially suitable for the identification of clastogenic compounds and highly predictive of in vitro SCE and micronucleus tests
  • Allows genotox screening early on in the discovery process
