How personal information is collected
Through our website: by subscribing to our CRO news flash in the subscription tool.
By e-mail: when sending an e-mail to an @remynd.com e-mail address.
Through your browser: certain information is collected by default by most browsers, such as your MAC-address, type of computer (Windows or Macintosh), screen resolution, version of operating system, and type and version of your internet browser.
Use of personal information
The personal data of the visitor will be processed in agreement with applicable law, including the Regulation (EU) number 2016/679 if the European Parliament and Commission regarding the protection of natural persons relating to the processing of personal data and to the free movement of data, and the withdrawal of guideline 95/46/EG (hereafter referred to as “Legislation on Processing”).
Personal data is processed based on Article 6.1. (a) consent, (b) required for the implementation of an agreement and (c) required to satisfy a legal obligation.
Visitors reserve the right to, at any time, withdraw the personal information that is processed based on consent.
reMYND will be responsible for the processing of the personal data for the following goals:
Orders: to be able to place orders at the relevant suppliers.
Services: to be able to give feedback regarding study set-ups, study updates and billing.
News flashes: to be able to give updates on our genetic Alzheimer Disease Mice Models, interesting assays and/or translatable biomarkers. These news flashes are sent by e-mail and reMYND will ensure that all marketing activities are compliant with the applicable law and will take the necessary measures to gather permission before sending out e-mails.
Website: to be able to track and improve the use of the website.
Sharing of personal data to third parties
If required to achieve set purposes, the customers’ personal data will be shared with other companies within the European Economic Area, which are linked directly or indirectly with reMYND or with any other partner of reMYND.
reMYND guarantees that these recipients will take the necessary technical and organizational measures for the protection of personal data.
When we have reason to believe that the law requires it, or in response to any demand by law enforcement authorities in connection with a criminal investigation, or civil of administrative authorities in connection with a pending civil case or administrative investigation.
Personal data processed for customer management will be stored for the time necessary to satisfy legal requirements (in terms of bookkeeping, among others).
Right to inspection, improvement, deletion, limitation, objection and transferability of personal data
The customer has at all times the right to inspect their personal data and can have it improved/improve it, should it be incorrect or incomplete, have it removed, limit its processing and object to the processing of their personal data, based on Article 6.1 (f), including profiling based on said provisions.
Furthermore, the customer is entitled to obtain a copy (in a structured, standard and mechanically readable form) of their personal data and to have said personal data forwarded to another company.
In order to exercise the aforementioned rights, the customer is requested to send an e-mail to the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org
The customer has the right to file a complaint with the Belgian Privacy Protection Commision (35 Rue de la Presse, 1000 Brussels – email@example.com).
Protection and precautions
reMYND has undertaken all reasonably possible precautions to ensure the confidentiality of the personal data that the visitor/customer shares. Each visitor/customer acknowledges the transfer of personal data through the website, and the internet in general, is never without any risks. Where possible within the applicable law, the visitor/customer agrees that reMYND is not liable for any direct or indirect damage the visitor/customer could incur due to illegal or wrong use of personal data by third parties that did not ask permission.
