CSO Drug Discovery. Gerard obtained his PhD degree in 1996 at the Free University of Amsterdam where he pursued his research interests in the fields of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology by studying molecular mechanisms involved in controlling gene transcription.
He subsequently held research positions at the University of Vienna (Austria) and the University of Leuven (Belgium).
PhD, MBA, Chief Business Officer. Lode has over 25 years of experience in senior positions in both the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sector.
He began his career in Clinical Operations at UCB in Belgium and thereafter moved to the USA holding senior positions at UCB, BMS, Osiris Therapeutics and Aziyo Biologics. More recently, he founded 3RBiomed and Amynas.
