Minister Jan Jambon visits remynd

We were pleased to welcome Federal Minister Jan Jambon this week for a visit at our facilities in Leuven, where he was introduced to our ongoing work in Alzheimer research and drug development.

During the visit, Minister Jambon received a detailed presentation of remynd’s approach to tackling Alzheimer’s disease through an innovative oral therapy, currently in clinical development and supported by a strong local ecosystem of scientific, clinical, and industrial partners.

The discussion also highlighted the importance of continued public and private investment in homegrown biotech innovation. In particular, Remynd expressed its gratitude for the strategic support from the Federal Holding and Investment Company (SFPIM), whose role is essential in helping Belgian biotech companies like Remynd advance toward clinical and societal impact.

"Belgium has all the ingredients to play a global role in neurodegenerative disease innovation: from world-class science to industrial know-how and long-term public support," said Johan Cardoen, Chairman of the Board. “This visit confirms the momentum we’re building together.”

Minister Jambon showed strong interest in the broader implications of early Alzheimer detection and the potential for Belgian R&D to help shape the future of care.

We thank Minister Jambon for his visit and engagement, and all our partners for their ongoing trust and support as we continue our mission to deliver better outcomes for people living with Alzheimer’s.
